Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 10hYeah, I have many friends in Los Angeles who lived in NYC during 9/11. I know I shouldn’t let this stuff bother me because he’s done way worse, but also, no, this is seriously messed up. 140
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 01/10/2026Damn, I missed that you were in DC! I hope you had a nice time :) 110

They are way more than just the Wayback Machine. They have a massive library of texts, audio, films, video games, and more media available. I'm downloading the 1933 OED right now as pdfs. It's insane. 9420154
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 29/09/2026Working with shelters in Pittsburgh 25 years ago did that to me, when I learned how and why no-kill shelters are able to call themselves that. I wound up working with the Animal Rescue League instead but got driven out by shitty management who ousted the people who really cared. 021

Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 22/09/2026Between this and pushing the Paramount merger through, I would rather vote for a box of hair. 031
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 22/09/2026LOLOLOL, yes, same. But I do have a very nice binder that’s fun to look at! 000
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 22/09/2026I discovered my old cards from ‘98 a year ago and tried to get back into collecting. It’s been..challenging. This post brought me joy. 170
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 21/09/2026Maybe..? There’s a job opening that one of our former colleagues would be great for, I was hoping I could recommend him :) 010
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 21/09/2026My friend who isn’t allowed to like things like this because of her job really appreciated this. 😂 020
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 21/09/2026Leander Sawyer, the name I would have had if I were a boy. Instead of video games, maybe I’d have actually broken into the fine art world, creating gigantic bleak landscapes from realities I can never visit :D 000
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 21/09/2026I LOVE this suggestion! If you’ve not read it, Christopher Durang has a play called The Actor’s Nightmare with George Spelvin as the main character. :D 120
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 21/09/2026Ooh, thank you!!! I’m fine with that stuff as long as I have a heads up so I really appreciate that! And yeah, I’ve been warned about the most recent Evil Dead. Yiiikes. Such a weird direction for those movies. 100
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 21/09/2026Either way, this show is making me mad at myself for not reading more Green Lantern before now. 140
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 21/09/2026I’m glad you asked - the one review I saw was from someone who really disliked it and I was worried. It looks fun! 110
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 20/09/2026I’ve seen some egregious decisions in my life, but whoever did this should be in jail. 070

Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 20/09/2026Hey , FWIW, I think nearly every parent I know feels the same way and has felt that way since Covid, when they all had to make impossible choices. :/ 000

Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 14/09/2026Aw boo, I think that guy’s too young. He doesn’t have any work experience from before 2011. 000
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 14/09/2026Oh, that’s awesome! I just went down a rabbit hole the other day and wound up reading a ton of behind the scenes stuff about the show, and how unorthodox it was. I think I still have the movie soundtrack on CD somewhere :) 010

Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 13/09/2026The most insidious thing about Law & Order is that it secretly taught everyone the Five Act Play Structure. Every single episode is set up as a perfect 42 minute five act play :D 000
Megan S @ghostgirl.net · 12/09/2026Exactly. When you have the time to go outside the lines, that’s when magic happens. Or a clip show. But, it’s worth it for the magic! :) 010
