I'm taking coming across Chaos Theory (the Vincent Valentine charity zine I helped organize a few years back) in the wild last night as a sign to repost the cover art, so here it is! 💌🎯 #FF7 #VincentValentine

Late for #WIPWednesday but whatever. (It wasn't late on tumblr!) Chapter 10 of RTGT is (finally) coming along, so here's a bit more about Vincent's fucked up physiology and some details on the graffiti in the basement of the Manor. #strifentine

“I was thinking about—you wrote this, right?”
“I did.” Vincent padded over, looking the messy lines up and down. “Quite early on, I believe.”
Cloud looked at him sideways. “What’s it mean?”
Vincent pointed. “My age, my birthday, my blood type.” He indicated a smear of white below the third scribbled line. “My father’s birthday was here, I think, and below that was the year I started the assignment.”
He offered the information so readily, Cloud felt a bit stunned. Vincent was forthcoming enough, especially with Cloud, but having seen how the writing came to be made his ease of explanation feel almost inappropriate.
“Your blood type’s A?” He asked, both because he really didn’t know and because he needed a minute to collect himself.
“It was,” Vincent corrected. “I don’t have one anymore.”
Cloud turned, his already unsteady train of thought completely derailed. “You what?”
Vincent just shrugged, putting his hands on his hips, although he didn’t look away from the wall. “My blood no longer contains any antigens at all, so I lack a blood type. Given that I have no need for an immune system, will never require a transfusion to save my life, and the composition of my blood makes me unfit to donate for use in others, it makes no difference.”
All right, that was fucking weird, but Cloud put it aside for the time being. Vincent’s body was weird, after all, he knew that. For Odin’s sake, he was missing more than half his bone marrow. Having no blood type was probably less weird than half his bone marrow being replaced with some kind of ultra-porous crystal that was barely heavier than air.
“Why were you writing your birthday and blood type on the wall?”
Vincent frowned, reaching out and delicately brushing the long line of the poorly-written number 7, tracing the arc perfectly. “To remind myself what they were.”

DAY 5: TURNABOUT / PERIPETEIA 🍎♡🐍 #SephesisWeek2026 Role reversal, Safer·Genesis and Weapon Sephiroth, united in their drive to wipe humanity off the face of Gaia. About time I draw my boys being an existential threat! 💌🎯 #sephesis #Sephiroth #GenesisRhapsodos #GenSeph #SephGen #FF7 #CCFF7 #CCFF7R

Sephiroth and Genesis Rhapsodos of Final Fantasy 7 with roles reversed. Aside from the one long earring in his right ear, Genesis is nude, although from the waist down he's nothing more than a clustered tangle of black feathered wings; Sephiroth lounges comfortably in those wings, cradled fondly with his legs wrapped loosely around Genesis' waist, one hooked over the curve of the massive golden halo suspended at Genesis' back. Sephiroth is adorned with metallic silver spikes that give way periodically to Lifestream green crystalline structures; at his feet, the spikes have formed into high heels. The rest of his body save for his face is covered in deep green material, and a pair of backward-curved horns break through the flow of his hair at the crown of his head. Genesis' left arm appears to have been supplanted entirely by his original wing, which he has wrapped around Sephiroth from behind to hold him close, allowing them to nuzzle their faces together. Sephiroth's right arm is looped around Genesis' shoulders, following the angle of Genesis' own, and the Black Materia floats in place between their raised hands. Genesis looks slightly maniacal, mouth open as if in laughter, while Sephiroth looks dangerously content, head cocked to one side to be closer to Genesis, one eye closed and mouth curled into a smirk.

Locked quotes on this thread except for this last post so that people don't spread around the rest of it too much if avoidable, and locked comments to followers/following for the same reason.

The final result of all this: the admin/owner of the platform has updated the ToS to be less vague and removed the post screenshotted above. This platform is still not for me, obviously, but at least there's that.

Basically it's a difference between "enough leeway for comprehensive moderation," which is good, and "intentionally vague for the purpose of allowing specific users to be targeted without recourse," which is bad. The way they were set up was firmly in the latter category.

000

nashi ♡ valentine @getvalentined.com · 12/09/2026

The added context around this whole thing makes this a red flag—and the admin agreed, as after some discussion with me about why their vagueness in so many things is a Bad Idea they removed this post and are (allegedly) reworking their ToS to be clearer.

That's their name for the 18+ section, which is still subject to pretty much the same rules as the rest of the platform but keeps adults in a little fenced-in area where they can be monitored. For the safety of the minors in the platform. Very normal for a platform that ISN'T made for minors!
