While I'm enjoying the humiliation justifiably being heaped on Senator Eric Schmitt, I don't don't think enough mockery is being directed at his accomplice, Senator Kennedy, the Cornpone Clown, with this stupidly victorious expression as he smugly holds up the ridiculous "evidence."

The Trump administration finalized weaker fuel-economy rules, dropping the 2031 target from 50.4 mpg to 34.9 mpg. During an oil shock. Nothing complements expensive gasoline quite like designing cars to need more of it. #FuelEconomy

I am relieved to see the Senate addressing one of my very top priorities -- how much some college athletes and their coaches are paid. I'll bet it's enough to buy groceries, fill up a tank for enough gasoline to get to and from work, and keep the lights and HVAC system on.

If NFL owners want to censor who performs in stadiums, they shouldn't ask taxpayers to help build them. You can't take public subsidies for stadiums then use them as your personal editorial board. Pay for it all out of your own pocket and hold as many Kid Rock concerts as you want to.
