Definitely. I've found it helps to mentally centre myself around reasonable writing goals. We'd all love to be making all the money releasing a book every other month, but that's demanding even with a full team behind you. It's okay to write our beloved stories at our pace.

Just wrapped up my 11th NaNoWriMo completion in a row. At this point, part of me keeps doing it just to keep the streak up, but I can't deny it's a good fire to encourage a burst of productivity. Discipline can be a struggle at times, but I'm excited to keep rolling on Phoenix Company Book 2!
