It’s extraordinary that all the developed nations of the world don’t seem able to name the country who is funding and arming the medieval death squads RSF committing humanitarian atrocities in Sudan. Why not? Don’t they know who is arming and funding them? What is preventing them ? #Sudan

Not enough people are paying attention to this. The UAE is fueling the civil war in Sudan, arming the RSF who the Trump admin admits is committing a genocide. And yet, this admin refuses to hold them accountable. We should be asking why. x.com/nickkristof/...
President Trump's financial disclosures yesterday showed that one big reason for his soaring income was a big payout from a UAE company. I hope that's not the reason he has been quiet about the UAE backing the RSF militia in Sudan as it engages in mass murder and mass rape. The RSF is now poised to overrun the city of El Obeid and massacre many thousands more people. Trump could avert these mass atrocities by insisting that the UAE tell its pet militia to back off. Will he?

Neat summary of some of Reform's problems by @iandunt.bsky.social (Source: iandunt.substack.com/p/triumph-in...)
Farage has relied extensively on the belief of his inevitability. That belief is now crumbling before our eyes. A few weeks back, during the local elections, the decline in Reform support was too subtle to be noticed by many journalists, because the party was still coming out on top. Now, the series of fuck-ups is so severe than even the most superficial herd-like reporters have begun to pick up that something is going wrong: the race riots, the piss-poor candidates, the threat on his right flank, the persistent underperformance, the loss of the women’s vote, the look of fear in his eyes when he’s asked about that £5 million donation.

Reform have now lost six by-elections in a row in England, Scotland and Wales. Their national poll rating is 26% – below Labour in 1983 – and Farage’s approval rating is -37. They’re very far from the voice of the people and need to stop being treated as such.

Ayin Network has traced modified G3 rifles used by Sudan’s RSF to a covert arms pipeline running from Yemen through Somalia, with UAE’s logistical backing. Yemen serves as the key modification hub, where gunsmiths reportedly add fake “USA” and “Marines” markings to boost resale value. The weapons are smuggled via maritime routes through Bosaso, Somalia, before reaching Sudan. Visual evidence shows the rifles integrated across RSF units, indicating organized supply.

The report underscores how Emirati support is sustaining RSF’s genocidal assault in which up to 450K+ have likely been killed since war broke out in April 2023.

What does it mean when you find Cold War-era G3 rifles present in different areas of western Sudan?

It reveals an entire network of arms dealing that uses an adaptive smuggling system – where guns are “laundered” from the UAE to Yemen, then Somalia, to the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan. Learn more from our open-source investigation. #KeepEyesOnSudan
