Whithorn High Street is extraordinary, a Georgian masterpiece created on a gentle gradient. Even from afar the town appears like an idealised scene in a Jane Austin film. Yet today it feels like a ghost town, just a couple of shops left. Nevertheless a remarkable place.

Pressure the film is a very good example of a wonderful bit of theatre that is wrecked on transfer to celluloid. If David Haig's superb play and performance had been left alone, rather than amped up to 12 as this version does, it would have been a far better result.

Seeing a lot of genetic AI 'illustration' at craft and art markets nowadays, often alongside legit illustration. It stands out a mile, cheesy, derivative twee stuff. It doesnt seem to sell that well either, there didn't seem to be much interest in these stalls.

I used to love Open House weekend when I lived in London, so many great places to see. In Scotland it's known as Doors Open Day - and I'm a bit excited to be hosting a venue myself for the first time tomorrow!

@threadinburgh.scot Andy - The longest serving bus in the Lothian Buses fleet. A one off commission of a rear entry only single deck bus with a conductors counter at the back. Never used succesfully in service and turned into a front entry bus. Then turned back to original condition by enthusiasts.
