None of what you say discounts that they are currently on a roll. Everything I said re stats is true with bells on - their Cllrs are making a difference where they hold office, in Scotland Greens were (albeit briefly) in our Govt! I no longer vote Green, they are a force for good and are risking

Coming a decent second in their second most successful by-election, going from 60k to well over 200k members in ten years, highest number of MPs ever, 800 seats in 170 councils. Yes, Greens are on a roll, been buggered by this vote, but they lost to Burnham more than the stupid vote.

I used to walk past the Egyptian Homebase on Warwick Rd each morning that was so bonkers I smiled everyday. It was controversial even before opening with one of the company directors insisting on having some of the column arches demolished and removed prior to opening.

Most folk (I'd argue ) dont know the leader of thier council's name. I know all my Cllrs, by name to chat to in the street. I regularly engage with all of them via voluntary work and occasionally personal issues. But I've no idea of the Council leader's name...which I am now embarrassed about.

I'm not sure the poster was even sure what they were talking about Simon, it just seemed a word salad to me. V good to see St Pancras result, not from the Labour perspective so much but that a former refugee is an MP. We have a bloody Reform MSP in our neighbourhood! Well done London!

I was surprised at the News Agents yesterday giving her such an easy ride. She landed Jeffrey Archer FFS, and Anne Widecombe who left the tories. Then she slagged off the torie who left the party for UKIP and Reform. Then she slagged off the police for being too woke in the Henry Nowak case....
