I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

1. HOW TO LIVE

We learn constantly from people, books, films, songs and then work out the whole of ourselves inside the world we live in.

2. DISCO BALL

It shines when there's light, but breaks when it falls. We get knocked down frequently but we can try and put the pieces back together and keep building what's entirely and exclusively our own.

3. WOMAN, LOVE YOURSELF, SWIM THE SEA

The idea is letting what's inside us come out as it is it's the only way for women's work to become Independent from patriarchal expression.

4. THE VOID CAN ONLY STOP BEING WHEN...

We need hope, we need to explore beautiful and challenging ideas, to respect nature and animals, to have friends, to give, to take, to dream.

5. SHOUTING OUT LOUD, A WOMAN ALONE

Make space to get together to share different activities like making music, art, activism and learn from each other to create female strength.

6. KINDNESS

Be as kind as you can to everyone, even when fighting for change. Rage is in my nature. I am trying to find a combination of rage and compassion.

7. LISTENING

Listen to other peoples point of view, don't just rush to shout your own opinion. You don't have to change your mind, you just have to listen.

8. CREATIVITY

In my creative life, I don't censor myself. I try to consider all Ideas that come into my head, even (or especially) seemingly mad ones. Keep moving, keep open, keep aware.

9. DON'T GIVE UP

History has shown me to never give up. Even when you aren't getting what you want or crave In terms of recognition or respect, have belief in what you are doing, always learning and being aware.

10. RELAX

Rest, get bored seeming nothingness. A lot is bored, stock up on going on in there.
