Authorities in Orange County say they’re unable to control the valves on a tank that contains methyl methacrylate, a chemical used in the manufacture of resins and plastics.

A 22-year-old Indian man, Birinder Singh, who recenty got his work permit in Canada, was killed in a sudden firing on Highway 2 near Leduc on March 14. Police said a white or grey pickup truck approached a black Honda Civic and the man inside the truck started firing, which hit Singh, who was driving the Honda Civic. The truck then fled the scene at high speed.

The victim has been identified as Birinder Singh. His family has started a Go Fund Me to help raise money to bring his body back to India.

Three childhood friends were on a trip from Edmonton to Banff when their car was shot at while they drove down the QEII south of Leduc, killing 22-year-old Birinder Singh.

Avelo will cease operations for the government on January 27.

The 60 Minutes correspondent who worked on the segment alleged in an internal email that pulling it from airing was “not an editorial decision, it is a political one."
