In our quest to revamp the armoured combat system to make it more authentic, I was thinking about adding stances for things like half-swording, but I fail to find many examples in tactical games and RPG.

I just found out that on some player computers, the game would halt to a crawl when loading a level, briefly leaving fullscreen (as if alt tabbed). It should be fixed now: Stay tuned for more coding tips!

Here is a great usecase of getting Claude AI to write code for you (in cursor): The designer sent me an aseprite file that would be impractical to turn into a tilesheet (as lines are not horizontal). The solution worked out of the box, but would add part of the other tiles :

The in-universe reason for the door serving as a T junction is that the dungeon was split between his two heirs after the mage who built it died! For some reason, my procedural generation algorithm puts a lot of doors instead of T junctions... 😱
