You know, I've "never had a tab of chatgpt open" either, but this kind of purity-testing is pointless, imo. If you've gooogled in the last year, if you've ever used voice recognition or text to speech of late, on and on, you've used a LLM or some kind of similar CNN (that is, a trained neural net).

Just downloaded Mapquest because they kept the proper names for things like Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario. BUT I've gotta let y'all know the app lets you pick a cute little guy to use instead of just a blue dot for your location. THIS IS SO DANG CUTE!

I would say the larger misconception is that this describes what worldbuilding is. It’s not. Worldbuilding is the work that ensures your plot and characters make as much sense as they need to for your story.

Folks, I try to avoid inlays that are "southwestern style" but NOT Native for three reasons. 1. Craftsmanship is not as good. Resin does a lot of the work versus stone cutting. 2. Labor practices in the Phillipines is sketchy af. 3. White colonizers profiting on Native artisan design is gross.
