Bless. It was still the 50s when I was born. Spent my life working in in IT at senior level. I (we) do understand the ‘Internet’ rather well. Where we fall short is in believing that it is the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything….

Here’s a PM who certainly has the vision & seems to have the determination to see it through yet we’re already shouting “why not sooner, why not further, where are the the detailed plans“. I’m old enough to know, it’s how things are now, but I do yearn for a bit of “this might just work” optimism!

Thanks so much for replying - I will use Schlagsahne, just thought upping the 30% fat content with a dollop of Mascarpone might make it feel a bit more like double cream. I’m sure it’ll be delicious either way!

They have “Sahnesteif” which is a powder you add to ‘Schlagsahne’ (30%) to stiffen it a bit - think it must be some kind of cornstarch… The really high fat Schlag is usually only available in the southern counties 😉

As a complete media outsider, it has felt for some time that the media (mainstream as well as social) has become outrageously rapacious. The hunger for any any snippet of ‘breaking’ info, is scary and, frankly, offputting. Silly season made it worse. I know there isn’t a reset, but it’s vile.
