Just missed the most epic Vancouver sunset where I could finally pull over after getting off the freeway and take a bit of a shot. I hope and expect somebody got something better! 😭 #BCStorm #BCStormWatch #BCWx #YVRwx

The New York Public Library just published their 2026 Best New Horror for Adults list, and we are honored to have NEVER WHISTLE AT NIGHT, PART II: BACK FOR BLOOD included amongst so many other great horror titles. Long live libraries! Make use of them whenever you can; librarians are amazing.

I had a friend who started a successful company in his early 20s and he had one just like this. It was in the shop a great deal as I recall. But we loved driving along Robson Street in Vancouver and making heads turn. We were both around 22.

Do you remember... In 1980, Martha and the Muffins released their debut album Metro Music. Powered by the international hit and Juno-winning Echo Beach, it reached #16 in Canada. They had three top 40 albums. Martha Johnson and Mark Gane continue to perform to this day.
Six musicians posed in a tight lineup against a pale wall, projecting a cool late‑1970s/early‑1980s new‑wave look with tailored suits, leather jackets and sunglasses.

My favourite neighbourhood tree looking a little less vibrant this year, its leaves already curling. Could very warm summer-like temperatures in late September that quickly turned chilly in early October have stunted the colour change? Will check back in a few days. ⏳ #NotFallingForFallYet #TOphoto
My favourite maple tree that is usually more fiery orange red by now but is mostly light orange with some yellow and green near the bottom. Bright blue clear sky and vibrant green grass.

An egg-shaped plastic toy from the 70s called a Weeble. It has a round face, pale skin, slightly sinister expression, and is under four active police investigations. Folks find it charming because it hands out free hot dogs once a year and pretends to be a man of the people. Not pictured: A small red shovel and a Tim Hortons egg sammich.
