Played that new Castlevania demo, it's pretty fun! Quite different from the rest of the franchise in a lot of ways, but it's not like SotN is anything like NESlevania anyway, and I always welcome trying new things

Ravenous Romance #Samus #Bridget #yuri #comic #rosalina

Bridget hears a knock at the door, she goes to answer it with a “Be right there!” And “Hellooooo” she surprised by who she sees and exclaims “Oh hey! What are you doin here?”
Rosalina waves and says “What, can’t a girl come check on her favorite coworker? I even brought some goodies to help her feel better” Bridget let’s her in and heads towards the bedroom saying “Im sure seeing a friendly face will help, let me see if she’s up for a visitor “

Bridget goes to Samus’ side and asks “Hey Sammy, Rosalina. Are by to check on you. How are you feeling?” Samus, panting heavily mutters “So… hungry” Bridget replies “Oh, you want food? Just hold on and I’ll make you some soup, ok?” “WAIT” Samus grabs Bridget by the wrist and she goes tumbling backwards while exclaiming “Woah!”

Bridget falls back with a *Womph* as she looks up to see Samus hovering over her, essentially pinning her down. She looks up at the panting Samus and asks”S-Sammy?”
Samus looks down hungrily at Bridget, sighing out “This hunger… is overwhelming. If you really want to help-“
She bares her fangs and begins to drool
“Then one bite…” she begins getting closer to Bridget
“…won’t hurt, right?” She breathes down on Bridget’s neck, making her clench the bed sheets and exclaim “Sammy…I, ah!”
Just then, Rosalina unwittingly bursts in, bag in hand. “Alright you guys, what are you getting up to in-“

“…here” Rosalina realizes a bit too late on what’s happening and she just walked in on. She turns a 180 with flushed cheeks as she awkwardly calls back to the lovebirds “I’ll just leave the bag by the door, you two have fun!” She quickly pulls out her phone and stays to herself “Oh my goddddddd I totally have to tell Pauline about this!!”
Mortified, Bridget pushes the ravenous Samus away as she calls out to Rosalina “W-Wait,hold on!”

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lathe_o... had me like

polly-o string cheese commercial where the text is altered to "Hey Fred Gimme an Ursula K. Le Guin adaptation" to which the man at the counter answers "Lathe of heaven coming right up" the kid then says "And hold the plot and minor characters" which the man repeats back as a question, the kid then adds "and hold the philosophical underpinnings" which the man again repeats and then calls out "Hey Jimmy gimme a 2002 film starring James Caan and Lukas Haas" and immediately once again says "Lathe of heaven coming right up" except the year 2002 is edited onto the textbox. After this two new panels are added, one where the man at the counter looks at the kid and says "I'm Jimmy" and one that is a zoomed in picture of the kid's face

The problem with video game remakes has never been, and never will be the changes that they make. It is ultimately that they claim to be the original game. I will never, ever understand the desire for a 'faithful' remake, the most faithful rendition is itself. Just play that.

My least favourite type of media discourse is the idea that the things you like must agree with you. I am reminded of the whole 'conservatives have no media literacy' and that they 'love media that hates them' thing, but especially with video games, this just isn't the case.
