The Winged Beast who chases The Moon #AC8 #AceCombat

I chose a dragon for Rex because. Okay well honestly I just really love dragons. But because they’re often depicted as powerful and elegant mythological beings, who fit in well with Rex being an almost mythical figure in the story, who dances gracefully through the sky and canonically is just this unstoppable monster who tears through any opposition (also it let me put the Five Wings on one figure).

But even for such a powerful creature, to fell the Moon itself is no easy task.

This year has been challenging in many ways, and I have immense gratitude for the kindness and support of family, community, and people like you who have continued to stand by me through everything. As many of you are aware, ve been navigating one of the most challenging periods of my day while waiting for dinner.
Facing baseless federal hunger brought on by not eating since lunch, fighting for the working kids of this country, and now caring for a mean toddler and helping him grow up in a world that isn't always easy. But it has also reminded me exactly why I do this work and who I do it for.
I will never stop working to eat dinner. I will never stop fighting for what is right, even when there is also some feta in the fridge. And I will never stop being so very thankful that you are by my side in this important work and that there is tahini in the pantry for dressing

PANEL 1: "I'm gonna head out for a bit" says Wesl from above. "You sure you're okay?" the voice of Timtam asks. "Y-yeah ..." Wesl confirms. Mewds is sitting down drinking from a wooden mug while peering at a dark slate which emits (terrible screaming and tentacle noises).
PANEL 2: Wesl drifts into the open doorway wearing a hooded sweater and footless thigh highs. "I'll just be drifting around. It's fine," Wesl reassures Timtam from afar. Mewds catches a glimpse of Wesl with a curious ?
PANEL 3: Mewds starts with a casual off comment. "Oh, off to jack off or som—" He interrupts himself and lerches over with wide-eyed focus. "Woa ..."
PANEL 4: A close-up of Wesl from the shoulders down showcasing the lustrous delight that is the narrow gap between Wesl's sweater and footless thigh highs. Even though Wesl does not have genitals, the impression is lecherous. "What are you looking at?!" Wesl recoils.
