Three decades ago I would look at the miniatures in the old Battletech Master Rules as inspiration. Now, in 2026, my own miniatures are in the new Core Rulebook and my name is in the credits. Feels good man, it's a bucket list achievement for sure. (still got my old book too) #battletech

Generally it contracts when it dries, so you can apply it more thickly and avoid clogging details.

A new dragon is underway for my HarrowHyrst range….I do love making them. I’ve used Sculpey to bulk out the wire armature and all the details are being sculpted with BeesPutty polymer clay. A homage to my old s-shaped dragons for Games Workshop :-)

The infantry is a bit of a mix, with some Rifle Platoons, Arrow IV platoons (which will probably be used as SRM infantry because I haven’t bought STLs for proper SRMs yet), Motorized Field Guns, and Otomo Guards. The Rifles and SRMs will be carted around in the Maxims I printed a while ago.

Base coat for the armour is done! Tried out painting it with makeup sponges instead of airbrush and WOW I'm very impressed with them for hard surface minis. This paint job took me 6-7 hours but I'd say its easily much faster than any other method I have tried. #nerdlings #battletech #warmongers
