Limitations are also how one gets deep permissions, whether a power of attorney or plumbers. We allow strangers to materially alter our homes with virtually no oversight, in no small part, because they don't also try to sell you insurance or offer home decorating tips.

I think we will see more and more of these cases in the future. And the moment universities started to integrate AI to the office suite they provide to researchers, this was easily expanded to all that we do, even if we would not use AI applications directly to talk about our work.
