Just wanted to…w-wanted to let you know that.” Peeking at his phone through his upturned lashes, he admitted meekly, “Um, pot, too, though uh, I d-did get really high on Monday.”

Thankfully, Lysander didn’t look condemning, maybe just a little bemused. “Yeah? That’s the day you went with Juniper to get more piercings, right?” His full lips twisted further into a smile, then a sultry smirk. “I see the eyebrow piercing, by the way. Very sexy.”

Theo blushed and laughed embarrassedly, resisting the urge to cover said new piercing with a self-conscious palm. Truthfully, he’d been so focused on the sensitivity of his newly pierced nipples that he’d barely spared a thought for the dull throbbing of his eyebrow. Even that dull ache was mostly gone now, unless he pushed too hard with a cotton-tipped swab against the piercing when cleaning away tiny amounts of pus that had leaked out of the slowly healing open wound. “Um…th-thanks. Yeah, that was the day. I, uh, well. It was v-very painful, and OTC painkillers weren’t r-really cutting it.”

Lysander was frowning again as Theo shifted his embarrassed gaze back to the phone, concern writ into his lover’s furrowed brows. “It was? Did the piercing go wrong or something? Did they have to do it more than once?”

“Oh…n-not this one.” Theo gestured vaguely to his eyebrow with his spare hand. “I m-meant the...the other piercings. I, um, got three t-total.”

Surprise, then intrigue, filtered into his boyfriend’s expression. Lysander’s lurid smile was back as he asked, purred, “Oh, I see. And…where did you get those other two piercings? …More on your ears? You have so many already, I can’t quite recall what ones you had before Monday. Which you’d think I would, considering how often I’ve bit and sucked on them.”

Theo knew he must have gone bright red at that comment, and he could only pray that neither elder Jha or even Siti happened to go out front and catch sight of him at that moment. “S-stop it,” he hissed, flustered, then, darting his gaze side to side, whispered back in his own attempt at a sultry purr, “No, n-not my ears. Or anywhere else on my face. I told you. You’ll have to wait until you see me in person to find out wh-where.”
