Our team started monitoring the number of people getting loaded on ICE Air flights in November; yesterday we counted our 5,000th. That count doesn’t include children, like Liam, or those who’ve self-deported on their own to avoid shackles, or the thousands loaded before November.

Couple things I want people to know about mining in Mn: 1) Cu, Ni, taconite etc; it’s all basically completely unregulated by ineffective, unenforced laws 2.) there’s nothing about new mines that guarantees jobs in this area. Generational wealth isn’t automatic or even feasible in these cases

The Iran-US deal just signed rolls back so much progress. All the sanctions and frozen assets that would’ve pressured Iran to stop violating civil rights are gone. And the agreement requires billions for reconstruction funding, essentially making the US an ally of Iran.
