It's a big fucking bummer to share that I've been diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. I start chemo tomorrow, and surgery will follow. I have decent health insurance, a wonderful support system, and the stubborn insistence I won't let one shitty titty take me down. Please send good vibes!

Twelve years ago, I had the honor to help escort surviving members of the 29th Infantry Division through Normandy for D-Day festivities. I sincerely hope a few are still alive today to celebrate.
