i’m almost finished with spider-man 2 (the videogame) and not only is the writing atrociously bad, but the gameplay does so much hand-holding it basically feels like a film that sometimes makes me push buttons but without even the make-a-choice factor. is the bar for triple a games that low now?

at first glance the duskfade videogame looks incredibly derivative but i do have a soft spot for the colorful cyberpunk aesthetic. i don’t mind that it wears its inspiration on its sleeve as much as the fact that the writing might be flat and the gameplay boring. will have to play the demo
