babyface ベイビーフェイス #pokemon #leon #raihan

babyface

Raihan: I'll let you in on a secret, Leon.
I am much, much, older than I look.

Raihan: (loves messing with Leon)
Leon: (has a complicated, unspoken thing for older partners)

...

...
Leon: so how old are you? when's your birthday?

Leon: No seriously, tell me-
[They're the same age.]

Leon: He hurt us both.
Leon touches Bede's shoulder, an attempt to console.

Bede: But at least he loved you.
Bede pushes against Leon's arm.

camera shy (1/4) #pokemon #bede #hop #bedehop #bthp #ビトホプ

Hop’s walking toward him, hands behind his back. Two steps away, he stops and looks around the room.

“You all might’ve heard that Bede and I were dating,” he says. “I know some of you must be wondering, why would we ever get together? Bede’s not known for being nice to me, after all. I’ve read all of your comments. You say he’s arrogant. You say he’s petty and cruel and selfish.”

And you’re right, Bede thinks.

“But you’re wrong,” Hop says.

The room gasps, a collective what?

Hop huffs. “I said you’re wrong! Sure, Bede might act all posh and elite on the pitch, but the truth is, he’s kind, and thoughtful, and he notices things and he cares!” He looks at the floor, a determined expression on his face. “We are dating.

We are.”

He says the last part with his voice lowered, glancing at Bede like the message is meant only for him.

Are dating. Not were dating.

“What are you saying?” Bede whispers.

“There’s a lot I don’t know,” Hop says, back in a stage voice, “but I know this: my feelings for you are real. I like you, Bede, no matter what anyone says, and I hope we stay together for --

What I Expected:
Christian lowering himself over Jay as Jay touches his arm, faces warm.
Christian: You like that?
Jay: Well, yes, but-
Jay: Ugh.
Jay: Shut up.

What I Got:
Christian enjoying his head caught between Jay's thighs like a freak while waiting patiently as Jay writes him fanfic in a notebook.
Christian ← tsundere enjoyer because people fawn way too much over his meticulously fabricated jock façade
Jay ← the nerd tsundere who finally gets to tsun and dere a jock back into his sensitive nerd proclivities

double date #pokemon #sonia #nessa #leon #raihan #rotom

sonia and nessa are across from leon and raihan, all seated at a restaurant called "The Captain's Table" in hulbury.

leon has his gloved hand folded over the back of his other hand, holding his cap on the table, and is smiling up at one of the wait staff standing by the table, as they pour a separate glass for him.

sonia is leaning back in her chair, sighing loudly and contentedly, her own glass already lifted in hand.

raihan is looking at his rotom phone in hand, his own glass left to the side on the table, leaning his cheek into the palm of his other hand; he may or may not be taking a picture; under his fingers, the rotom phone is smiling.

nessa is staring out the window, at hulbury, in the direction of her hometown gym stadium and the lighthouse, chin perched in hand, other hand resting at the base of her glass on the table.

library: cyril, lysithea, and claude #fe3h #claude #cyril #lysithea

Lysithea: Hello, Cyril!
Claude: !
(While reading a book at a table by candle, Claude notices Cyril and Lysithea are talking in the library by some bookcases.)
Cyril: Hey, Lysithea.

Lysithea: Another shopping list?
Cyril: Yeah. I think I got it this time though.
Lysithea: Can I take a look?
Cyril: Sure?
(Cyril hands Lysithea a piece of paper.)

(Claude holds his own face in contemplation.)
Claude: ? (...hm.)

(Cyril and Lysithea smile at each other, and Claude notes their similarities.)
*same age
*same height
Lysithea: I'm going there too. I'll go with you!

Claude: (Oh.)
(Claude leans his chin in palm, while Inner Claude is on his elbows and knees on the floor, a single stream of smoke rising from his head.)
Claude: (THAT'S ADORABLE.)

raihan, kabu, and their torkoals.
kabu poses with a peace sign in front of his face as if to mimic youth like raihan, while raihan poses up more stiffly with his hands held behind him as if to contrast against kabu's joke.
kabu has his signature towel around his shoulders, and both are sweating as if they'd just finished training.
raihan has his signature rotom phone partially hidden in his hands behind him. they are posing for another camera; this may be a publicity shot.
their torkoal partners are playing with one another on the ground in front of them.

#hxh fanart for archiveofourown.org/works/57187180

“I like you,” Killua says, and then, “you know that, right?”

His eyes are downcast as he says it, only glancing up at Gon’s face as he asks for confirmation. The voice he’s using edges on imploring, like he needs to know, and it makes Alluka’s heart lurch in her chest. Killua feels delicate and fragile, and she dimly recognizes the way he appears from his apology to Nanika those years ago. He’s being vulnerable.

Gon looks like he might have just heard the craziest thing in his life. His whole manner of being is stunned, from his slightly open mouth to his slightly raised shoulders. His eyes, though, are alight with a sense of wonder Alluka can hardly fathom.
