The English translation patch for Super Robot Wars OG: Dark Prison is also looking real good. Mildly biased on this one as I like the La Gias cast, but this has lots of the Cool Tech stuff implemented here so fans can have a fun time with it - and this is for a PS3 game even!

A Super Robot Wars NEO English translation is in the works and is moving along nicely overall! Some of the work on SRW GC primed me for working in Dolphin, and its successor here in NEO is also looking quite nice to date. Some screenshots below (and maybe a set of bad pun ones slightly later).

I did reflect on what I enjoyed most out of DW3/4 and I think at its hardest it was most fun when I had to chart out having to be at Point A to save this guy, then ride the Red Hare bus within two minutes to Point C across the map to save THAT guy, and then... rather than any one combat, yeah

Is that WRONG? I mean... no, I guess not? And if you love the memory, memories are flakey. They decay over time. They lie to you... and maybe like a drug, you need to take harder and harder hits to refresh that memory and keep it alive. But you don't need the memory when the thing is right there! 😭

Perhaps a personal failing, but I can't think of many things I love that I would want to see buried and painted over. I can't think of anything I love that I need saved from the context of it's creation. But often I feel like people don't love things. They love the memory of things.
