This is a frightening escalation from the Tories and Reform. You may personally disagree with the outcome of a jury trial. But it is absolutely correct from the point of view of how our legal system works, and has worked for centuries. Due process followed to the letter. No two-tier justice here!

The ‘Matilda’ theory of international relations: “I'm right & you're wrong, I'm big & you're small, & there's nothing you can do about it.” How did that work out in the book? Europe can & must now ensure that Trump & Putin can’t bully Ukraine into defeat. More aid, more sanctions & seize RU assets!

Every day, politicians and the right wing media whip up hatred and fear of migrants. None of them say this is wrong. None of them make the positive case for immigration. None of them tell the truth. And then, today, someone did speak out, and the sodding BBC sodding apologised for them. I give up.
