The usual suspects

Accounts based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Russia, Poland and Italy spread false and recycled footage of the student protests between 1 and 6 October, joined by accounts posting in German and Spanish. They presented a movement for teachers and heated classrooms as a race war, an Islamist uprising or the fall of France. Several posts told French voters what the answer was. "They're in desperate need of law and order and a right-wing President," the QAnon-styled account The Q Eye wrote on 1 October, over a video it captioned "Youth thugs and students in France are starting to RIOT and VIOLENTLY ATTACK teachers."
NewsGuard, which tracks false news, found that accounts based in Africa and posing as US users, some using the names of celebrities such as Mel Gibson, spread fake protest videos on 3 October. It found that Matryoshka, a Russian operation, circulated about 20 fabricated stories about the protests dressed up as reports by AFP, Deutsche Welle and Le Monde. France votes for a new president in April 2027.

Randomly watched a video about Jimmy Neutron & when it showed a clip from the movie (which I haven't seen in many years) of everyone preparing to go to space, I had to do double take at the dragon ride. I get cartoons back then got away with a lot, but this is not subtle at all! 🤣
