How to filter out AI Images in Google Image Search. Sharing this with my students so I figured I'd also share it with everyone here. Hopefully this image is still relevant given Google's changes. Save this on your computer or phone and refer to it as needed.

HOW TO FILTER OUT AI IMAGES IN GOOGLE IMAGES

When you type something add the following minus keywords: -ai, -prompt

Since AI movement increased highly in 2022, use "before:" like before:2021 (VERY effective)

The following keywords will affect and should decrease amounts of AI imagery appearing on your search.

Create, not scrape!

Hey guys! I also wanted to mention that if you want your posts to look a bit neat & less cluttered with tags, you can use alt text instead. Just place your keywords in the alt text and your posts will still appear in the search/feeds. I usually describe my art, so what I write in it will show up!

(A) Did you hear? #Tags work differently now! Apparently there's a robust tagging and #archival function, similar to #Tumblr 's tag system, which allows you to easily search your own account for posts! And if you're embarrassing like me, you can #highlight-important-text like an #RPG dialogue box.
