When I read a "Gargoyles" comic, I find myself asking, "What happens next? Where are we going?" When I read a Marvel or DC comic, I find myself asking, "Okay, how long until they undo this?" One makes me curious about the future. The other makes me suspicious of the present.

Calling Disney "woke" (stupid label) is so short-sighted. There isn't a single major studio that handcuffs its talent to control its image the way Disney does. It's one of the most conservative studios there is.... Same-sex kiss in Rise of Skywalker that could easily be cut overseas.

There's two levels of Babylon 5 foreshadowing: 1. Foreshadowing of what is to come in later seasons. 2. Foreshadowing of what is to come in the real world. For instance, "The War Prayer" hits really differently these days compared to how it did back in the 90s.

DVD sales in states that have passed online age-verification laws, like South Dakota, Texas and Florida are up as much as 22% as adults grow wary of data leaks and the potential for government surveillance.

Pulse sells to wholesalers, who in turn sell to retail stores and the general public. Since Pulse doesn't sell directly to consumers, its operation hasn't changed due to laws, but Adams said he's seen how DVD sales are shifting in the industry. The biggest impact of the laws has been an increase in DVD sales where they're enforced, such as in Tennessee, Texas, and Florida.
