this is one of my favorite games of the year (maybe in the all time?) - the ending caught me and hit me right in the gut and it has been an easy recommend (just from the demo alone) to a lot of people I know interested in TTRPGs and anything similar. I look forward to the artbook 👍

if it's a brand new device, sometimes ISP needs to bounce a signal to it before it starts picking up what they send it - you'll want to have most of the device info available if you chat someone from support but usually not too bad

they are not ball-knowers ; I think a lot of it defaults to how cats are perceived initially but once someone meets a cat that is more receptive/unconditional loving then they can understand it (I do think people that prefer dogs are more likely to perceive cats badly then vice versa though)
