Yeah, its not very good. And I usually like James Gunn's stuff. Gunn is better at making parodies, rather than the main event.

Because Thatcherism has reached it's logical conclusion, and they don't know what to do. So like all cults they reach for ever more extreme, batshit crazy answers.

The Tories will probably gain a few points after the conference. But they're in a terrible place, the right wing vote split 3 ways.

The daily casualties are getting crazy, Russia trying to make progress before winter kicks in. What an utter waste of life, what a pointless war.

The motion didn't criticise Israel's behaviour, it called for it to be "replaced". If that isn't antisemitism I don't know what is.

Absolutely. However making it party policy that the description Zionism is racist, along with calling for Israel to be "replaced", is.

It's been a hot minute since I was traveling (or living) abroad, but I do have quite the collection of museum displays, store signage, and menu text. Menus are my favorites, because what is translated as awkward poetry in signs is often... not so poetic on menus.
Menu written in Chinese with English translation under each line. Literally every single dish on the menu has been translated as "Italian meat sauce face." The section heading for soup has been correctly translated as soup. In the corner is an illustration of a stereotypical chef with the hat and white coat and red kerchief at the neck. He has a mustache and is grinning while holding a tray of food. He is leaning back in a way that suggests his torso is not properly connected to his legs. At his feet is the single English word, "work."Photo of a menu page that I took while living in Beijing around 2013 or so. The dish is a bunch of brown cubes in a red oily sauce, with strips of red pepper and one decorative sprig of parsley on top. It costs 28 RMB and the English translation of the dish is "Bloody battle." It's actually a jellied pig's blood dish, which I once described to someone as, "Like blood pudding, but jigglier."Menu item written in Chinese, with a photo of the dish that is a bright red broth with bits of fish and vegetables. The dish has been translated to English as "Cannot Take This Anymore." I took this photo at a restaurant in Beijing in 2014-ish, and for the record I did not order this so I can't confirm just how dangerous the broth was.Lunch menu photographed at a restaurant in Beijing in 2013. The English text is larger, with the Chinese text below. The list of dishes from top to bottom are: Traditional tomato sausage surface (actually spaghetti); Spanish Merlot sauce beef with rice (actually a sort of marsala); Venice bacteria Italian rice (actually risotto); Rome vegetable soup; Mexican beef cheese cornflakes (actually nachos). It was located near a business district, so this was an attempt to bring in foreign office workers.

3 parties splitting the right wing vote for years, and the Greens self-destructing. Labour could do very well put of this.

The Greens drown in Corbynism, while Reform and the Tories tear chunks out of each other and split the right wing vote. Andy Burnham is a lucky general.

When can My girlfriend sit on my face again
I'm 21M my Girlfriend 21 F, and I broke my lower jaw 9 weeks ago, it was fractured in 2 places and I have 2 titanium plates and screws in my mouth, everything has gotten back to normal now at this point though, l've been eating and going about my life almost completely normal, but I was wondering if she was able to sit in my face now at this point in jaw surgery. I'm not on any medication I haven't been since week 2 and I'm healing great. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, please and thank you!!!

The papers have finally worked out that Reform aren't a viable party and Farage is a grifter. But they've been fluffing him for far too long, so now they're reduced to cheering for a party on 17% of the vote. The inevitable outcome when people flirt with fascism.

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

Agreed, but to be fair they did also break the last ceasefire. The Iranian government's control over the IRGC is pretty weak. Trust is very low on both sides. Agree that this isn't going to be sorted out anytime soon.

It is worth pointing out that this is the IRGC, rather than the Iranian government or its negotiators. They always come out with belligerent rhetoric like this, which doesn't reflect what Iran's actual demands will be.
