this looks ugly, but that's the point. When sketching UIs I try to ignore details early on, so I don't care about crooked lines. I got the idea from Jason Fried: Sketching with a sharpie signalvnoise.com/posts/466-sk...

anyone with less followers than me is a feeble peasant, not even worthy of a simple like. anyone with more followers than me is a cruel tyrant, obsessed with clout. and anyone with exactly my number of followers i will defeat in hand to hand combat

I spent two weeks on this website that automates a couple of hours of manual excel work. Looking at xkcd 1205, it will likely never pay off, but that’s okay, it was fun. Read: filippo-orru.com/blog/group-g... (Nuxt, Vue, Tailwind CSS)

@graze.social How come you don't offer login via OAuth at www.graze.social/app/login ? Using an app password feels like a crutch and increases friction.

guess what! 👉 state of js 2024 is out nuxt was one of _only two_ frameworks to see an overall increase in positivity in 2024 🙌 (shoutout to @astro.build as the other one 👋)

a chart of positivity towards meta-frameworks showing nuxt moving from the rank of #7 (in 2023) to #4 (in 2024)

Super happy to reveal our new paper! 🎉🙌♟️ We trained a model to play four games, and the performance in each increases by "external search" (MCTS using a learned world model) and "internal search" where the model outputs the whole plan on its own!

www.codingchallenges.fyi also looks like a great resource for brainstorming ideas for #softwareengineering interviews! Having a canditate break down how they would implement something like a Google Keep clone can give great insight into end-to-end understanding.

A huge list of technologies listed on your CV is not as important as you might think! A common misconception in the engineering industry is that seniority is measured by how many technologies you know. This can't be more wrong. It’s impossible to be an expert in all of the different technologies.

Something interesting: it seems like Genius.com, the lyrics website, fingerprints their lyrics by replacing certain characters. The Cyrillic `е` looks exactly like a roman `e`. Tactics like these (called Steganography) can be used to encode your unique user id in a text. 🧵

👨🏻‍💻 I built an app that automatically records my climbs. It detects when climbing starts and stops, so I end up with 5 short clips instead of an awfully long recording 🧵
