So Netflix is using "AI" to upscale old movies and shows, with obvious results. Using an algorithm to upscale old video isn't a terrible thing, but to do it right you need to have someone willing to go over every frame. Trouble is, dipshits think it's magic.

I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.

There was a mass disabling event in recent history that could cause long term health issues including but not limited to mobility, recent studies showed that nearly half of those diagnosed with Long Covid have suffered mobility and balance deterioration. I imagine some may need mobility aids.
