I tagged along a popular fandom in the early 2010s. I have plenty of stories of harassment, stalking, threats of violence and assaults I could tell. I consequently promised myself to stay away from that kind of crowd. Fandoms attract some disturbing people, none of it is new.

A poem titled "Swim to Me", made up of 2 haikus. Below them is a black and white drawing. The text of the poem reads:

The drawing is a black and white ink-pen drawing made of abstract shapes and lines that probably looks like a man with weirdly formed arms swimming through the water, doing some version of the breast stroke. His head is up and he is looking forward, but his expression is uncertain.
