In 1932, several sheep were found dead and exsanguinated in Arizona. Their blood was drained through three unexplained punctures. A photograph of the predator was taken by a park ranger. Officially explained as a mangy dog, some yet claim it is an image of the Chupacabras.

Barlas, the father of Yvette.

Yvettes mother is standing nearby, her name being Ylva

This is just a rough concept sketch.
Yvette’s childhood consisted of waking up early in the morning, handed an axe and given the number of trees that had to be cut down to make lumber to provide to the settlement.
Barlas was a huge individual, known to be an absolute unstoppable force among the battlefield as he swung his mighty axe among those unfortunate enough to cross his path. He did what he could to provide for his family and protect his land. Granted he might had come off rough and cold to Yvette: he knew the world and lands they lived in where full of dangers and other horrible things, so he made sure to prepare her for that and make her a powerful individual.
She still recalls those cold nights in the campfire by his side….

Yvette grew up to be quite the powerhouse herself. Inheriting her father’s strength and battlefield knowledge passed down, but also taking after her mother. There is a grace to her.
