The latest model finished for Volume 2 of the Generic Locomotive Catalog, a "modern" 4-4-0 based on a 1907 ALCO product built for the Yosemite Valley Railway. This little guy runs on 63" drivers, and puts down 18,753 lbs of tractive effort, making him perfect for early game passenger service!

Finished this today for a client, a GHQ Loco Master N scale Milwaukee F-7 Hiawatha Hudson kit running on a modern Bachmann N scale Hudson chassis with DCC. All cast resin, white metal and brass etch. I don’t normally do commissioned work in N, but this was a really fun and unique project!

Temporarily assembled the heavy pacific, incredibly pleased with how it’s looking. Unfortunately I am missing the special screws that hold the front together, as this model was incomplete when I got it. I’ll have to figure something out, perhaps with some M2 threaded rod and various nuts/washers
