Recap of this past weekend's sale. It went well! Thanks to all who checked it out! I was worried that offering vol. 2 and 3 was a mistake (for one thing, it assumes anyone has read vol. 1), but vol. 2 actually sold more than any of my other books. So that's interesting.

At a charity bowling event - event, not tournament, since I am worse at bowling than just about any activity I'm physically able to do. I'm lucky if I don't gutterball at least once in any given frame. Pretty sure an org would pay me NOT to enter their tournament. 😅

Good thread, but this is a point I wanted to expand on: your OWN goals. Do you want money, fame, self-expression? They *can* but don't always overlap. Decide what your priorities are, and you'll be happier. I don't make a lot of money, but I write what I want. I'm a lot happier that way. ymmv.

Meanwhile, it's the girls' first full day out in the whole house (almost), after 2 weeks acclimating in our home office. They seemed a bit overwhelmed last night, but they're doing great today. 🩷 New names are settling in, I think. They were J's idea, so I'll let him announce if he wants to.
