My 18yo Trans son decided to leave his birth gender on his ID precisely because he does not trust the government not to weaponize it. He moves through is life just constantly half-smiling at people who misgender him because he's afraid. I hate this for him and all Trans Americans.

The Biden-Harris administration gave Israel 30 days to allow aid into Northern Gaza. Last week Israel announced it wouldn’t allow Palestinians to return to their homes there (ie ethnic cleansing), and it hasn’t allowed aid. Today, the US confirmed it won’t enforce any consequences.
