No. No no no. “raises serious questions” implies there’s any doubt. “Yet more proof” or “clear evidence of”. You’re not trying to convince people through a later argument, you are stating a fact. How are they so bad at this?

Super Mario Sunshine is surprisingly more realistic than later Mario games in one specific aspect: here, Mario will start drowning if he hangs on to a ledge in such a way that water is flowing into his nose and mouth, as one would in real life.

Observe Mario holding on to a ledge that water is flowing over in Super Mario Galaxy (left) and Super Mario Odyssey (right). If realistic physics applied, he should start drowning since his nostrils and mouth are covered by water flowing into them.
However, in these games the air depletion/drowning state is tied to the swimming animation. As long as Mario is not visibly swimming, he cannot be drowning even if he is covered by water.
In Super Mario Sunshine, however, air depletion is decoupled from swimming as an action, allowing Mario to realistically start drowning in this situation (note him flashing red and his air meter depleting).
However, he is saved by Sunshine's (also unique among 3D Mario platformers) ledge tiredness mechanic. After hanging on for 20 seconds, Mario will let go. This is also realistic, since why would he let himself drown?

the trans community’s demand is eminently reasonable: “democrats need to treat trans people as equal partners in their political coalition or trans people will not be partners at all.” so, democrats: do you want to win or not?

Will, I don’t know what else to say. Many trans people aren’t going to vote for Dems that call us biological males or advocate for healthcare restrictions. It’s a step too far. We won’t vote for Republicans, but we very well may leave those races blank. You can’t leave us behind to save yourself.

No candidate, regardless of party, will ever get my vote if they call me a "biological man" and advocate for laws targeting my community. Its that simple.

It probably helps if you start with the assumption that anyone running for Congress is a bad person, because they want to have and exercise power over others It'll be less surprising when they do this shit

lol liberals don't realize how much they've adopted nationalism and how much minorities have adopted nationalism in turn. everyone's quickly going to do a "if we burn you burn with us" attitude unless people get this shit together and have a damn spine to attack the right wing directly

the infuriating thing about all of the crises going on right now is that they were completely predictable the second they announced they were gutting food safety monitoring, everyone knew it would lead to a bunch of contamination and recalls! we could have just not done it! it's all so stupid

Walgreens has confirmed initial state-by-state availability of Covid vaccines. It may change — last year, some states that initially had age or prescription limits lost them when state officials acted — but this is the situation for now. Other pharmacies may have different policies.

We will continue to update availability as appropriate.

States where the 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccine will be available at Walgreens pharmacies soon to patients ages 3+:

AL, AK, AR, CA, CO, DE, HI, ID, LA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, NE, NV, NH, NM, NY, OK, PA, RI, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WV, DC

States where the 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccine will be available soon, subject to state-specific age restrictions:

CT (12+), FL (18+), GA (13+), IL (7+), IN (11+), IA (18+), KS (12+), KY (5+), MA (5+), MO (7+), MT (7+), NJ (5+), NC (7+), OH (5+), SC (16+), TX (14+), VT (5+), WI (6+), WY (7+)

States where pharmacist administration will be available with a prescription. List may change:

AZ, OR, UT

U.S. territories where the vaccine is not currently available for administration at Walgreens pharmacies:

Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands
