you’re right. we’ve needed AI reviewers to criticise the SSRF design and make it as solid as possible

Claude uses CIMD consistently. We use DCR as a fallback for clients that still don’t use CIMD

Spent the weekend adding DCR and CIMD support to our MCP server, to remove friction. It’s been hard, even with the help of Claude

love the Apple Container machine concept. You can create a Linux machine that shares the MacOs file system, like Toolbox or Distrobox in Linux distros

There are people who are reluctant to give any personal information to an LLM, and others who would go so far as to give it their bank password.

Totally agree. I’ve replaced the old tour by specific in-app helpers that explain what’s important at the right time, and can be removed by clicking on a got-it button. I think it’s more effective

I agree, inmutable distros are not for everyone, much less for new users. Something like Linux Mint is what I’d recommend for beginners

Yeah, sure. I've been using it for several years in both laptop and desktop, and I love the idea of immutable filysystem and having different boxes for different coding environments. I've never needed to reinstall anything. It's very stable.

Just fixed a few issues in the MCP server (dropping unused connections to free memory, raising idle timeout) and added support to other tools (Gemini CLI, Hermes). One very productive hour!

Fastmail—the Australia-based indie email provider—is going to let you choose if you want your data in the US or the EU starting August 1. Fastmail's COO Bek Fraser says this will make your experience faster if you're based in the EU and you switch to those servers.

Regardless of the model used, Claude Code has greatly improved its workflow. It now creates its own temporary code to verify the validity of changes, benchmarks, convergence tests, and so on. I still do it, but reviewing the code is becoming increasingly unnecessary.

Wait, you… use libraries? Code that other people wrote for you? You just… download it? Do you even read the code? Do you not care about the craft, the knowledge that comes from putting in the work yourself? Aren’t you afraid your skills will atrophy?
