Second-generation planets, are awesome! That’s one of the formation channels we expect from the very rare planets we also see around pulsars (which is more mind boggling, given there’s a supernova involved in the process, and pulsar is harsher). These white dwarf exoplanet results are fascinating!

BTW do NOT send in proposals that have been rejected x-times and have the proposal basically unchanged, when there were valid reasons for rejection. And if you do at least volunteer as a reviewer. I think ESO does that now. For x proposals handed in you need to review y. Sounds fair.

This behaviour should not be awarded in particular as you can update a proposal any time. "Oh you did not manage to hand in a plausible proposal 10mins before the deadline? Sounds like you either write way too many proposals or you suck at planning."
