I remember using cohost, the site was interesting in that while the surface level traffic was a lot lower than major social media sites, the click through rate was *multiple orders of magnitude* higher, people could tell when a promotional post was from their own community so they actually cared.

The underlying assumption I see online a lot is the only reason anyone would ever *want* to see a fat person is if they’re a chaser or some sort of Fat version of AGP. That it Has to have some perverse motive that overrides some sort of inherent revulsion to the sight of or being a fat person.
