It’s been six years, and I’m *still* mad that the solution to J20 being cancelled over COVID in my jurisdiction was to retake in either October or February. Completely wrecked my post-law school plans. Anything less than diploma privilege for the Washington bar exam applicants right now is wrong.

One thing that I learned growing up in a forest: if you do not leave early, you WILL get stuck in standstill traffic with everyone else who decided to wait before evacuating and when that happens, you WILL run out of gas long before you reach somewhere safe. Don’t risk it, just go early.

People should be able to tell the difference between "Good Books" and "Fun Reads". There are many books that are objectively NOT Good Books, but they're Fun Reads, and there are many books that are NOT Fun Reads, but are very Good Books They're not mutually exclusive, but they're different criteria

I want to say the scene makes sense in context, but it really doesn’t. And wilder still, it’s told from Beverly’s perspective! That being said, it’s not a *key* plot point. Both adaptations have removed the scene without any impact to the plot whatsoever.
