What if each month you received a letter from an adventurous friend? What if they told you of their extraordinary journey in a wild and otherworldly land? What if you got long letters about their experiences of raucous taverns, Vodarr Witches, travelling caravans and outlaws? 1/3 #snailmailclub

collage image of a photo of a close up of writing in the background, on top is a torn piece of paper, with a fragment of a letter reading: My Dear Friend, What an adventure I have had since I saw you last at Port Hope. The Tipsy Wizard
Agaloon Coast
2nd Moon In The Year Of Olum

My Dear Friend,
What an adventure I have had since I saw you last at Port Hope. The journey to this wild place was not without incident, and you can be sure that I will furnish you with as much detail as I am able.
A couple of weeks into my journey on the whale-road, aboard The Intrepid, something happened which was to change my once relaxed attitude to sea travel. I was woken very early one morning to the sound of the crew shouting and rushing about ship. Their voices were laden with panic, and the word being repeated was Leviathan! Leviathan! I can tell you this made my blood run cold. As you know, I'm not one to shy from a little peril, so I grabbed my coat and rushed up to the deck to see if I could be of use. Men were standing on the port side, holding long spears, pointed at the wild foaming ocean below. I could see something in the early morning light, an immense creature with glistening scales the size of shields, effortlessly gliding alongside us, it must have been...

Angel of the Cycle. Personal artwork of mine, started as a MtG style assignment in Winona Nelson's Smarterartschool class wayy back in winter. I tinkered with it on and off over the months, between freelance work. Now it's finally finished! :D

A female black-winged angel carrying a scythe staff. Her face is beautiful, but a part of it is blackened and mummified, and she lifts a black lace veil to reveal it. Her outfit displays a similar marring on her body: one of her hands is only bones. She wears her decay with pride as she regards us. Bats fly around her, their heads are skulls.

Happy Summer Solstice! May it be mellow and joyous! ”Summer Horns” Oil on board (Painted during a lazy summer some years ago) Fun fact: I picked up some acorn caps to use as reference for the mouse cymbals, and a real life mouse stole them from my studio

It is sunset on a golden Summer day. A faun in an elegant red coat prances among the trees, playing tunes on a curling golden horn. But not your ordinary faun with ordinary goat horns! This one has proper horns! Brass musical horns, that is: growing from his head in complex spirals. He is accompanied by a musical mouse playing acorn-cap cymbals.

Look what I made! I originally had the idea three years ago, but haven't been able to get time to make it until the last couple of months! Air dry clay (ladoll) and airbrush to finish. I need to get some good photos at some point! 1/2 #sculpture #airdryclay #bookworm #bookwyrm #monster

photo of the front part of a book end which has a purple 'wyrm'/monster kind of thing popping out one side. He has a pale turquoise tummy and four legs on his front half and nobbly black shiny horns on his head.

photo of a book end sculpture I made - from above, you can see the tail nearest the camera here which is curled around. It's purple and turquoise. The front end is looking away from the camera and has a textured nobbly back.

the bookend of a 'bookwyrm' i made doing its job and holding up some books! The monster has a very derpy expression on its face and there are two front teeth sticking out with a grin. It has pale blue eyes.
