He's going to do that regardless. I am genuinely not sure the extent to which the GOP will go to say the election was stolen. The polls are out and some Republicans are on the record saying they expect enormous defeat. Hard to claim the election was a fraud when the rest of the GOP expects to lose

I rejected an AI article submitted to the Journal of CAA (and I probably only spotted it because I'm an expert), and the editors were going to let them rewrite it. No, I think the author should have been fired or thrown out of grad school (if they were even real to begin with).

It's getting really challenging to peer review articles because you used to be able to take it on good faith that a bibliography was real and the citations actually said what the author said they did.

When everything is AI, nothing is AI. [Wikidata is Linked Open Data] news.virginia.edu/content/qa-w...
Q. How does Wikipedia work beyond the encyclopedia most people know?

A. People are familiar with Wikipedia, which is the encyclopedia of prose text for humans, but there’s also a project called “Wikidata.” It is an imagining of Wikipedia that AI uses to answer questions.

Every Wikipedia article has a Wikidata entry in the database, which is a conversion of the information in Wikipedia to structured data. People can often find interesting global datasets. So, for example, there are biographies for certain professors at the University of Virginia, and a person could go into Wikidata and ask for a list of all the people who are employed by the University of Virginia.

It's hard pinpoint the very earliest memory of a scary scene or character, but I would say 1) The lightsaber fight between Luke and Vader in Empire and 2) some scene in Brave Little Toaster where the vacuum cleaner (?) goes nuts and 3) Watership Down
