Our latest @georgetownccf.bsky.social report looks at uninsured rates for children under 3. The # is going up, and this is before Medicaid enrollment losses post-unwinding which have been huge. States in blue have highest rates. No baby should be uninsured. ccf.georgetown.edu/2026/08/18/h...

Scott amendment eliminating 90% matching rate for #Medicaid expansion is being described as just about changing federal financing. It's effectively repeal! Amendment language is nearly identical to that in a section labeled "Repeal of Medicaid Expansion" in the 2017 House-passed ACA repeal bill!

The #Medicaid work requirements are almost the same as initial language except that the exemption for parents is now limited to parents of children age 13 and under (initial language was for children age 14 and under). States also now required to automate exemptions on "ex parte" basis (8/x)
