Woke up too early. Today is an editing day. I think I shall also re-read Gregor Vuga's Kriegsmesser. It helped me formulate a specific issue I had with WHRP a few years back, albeit not the issue one would anticipate; and it made me figure out a fix which added this whole other avenue of play.

Also, sorting through my resources and found a painting by Hans Thoma. If @inplacesdeep.bsky.social hasn't posted before, it would shock me.

Eight dancing women in bird bodies (1886), depicting pretty much exactly that. These women notably have their avian wings hugging at their hips, which makes for a rather unique harpy-type silhouette.

By modern standards they seem less dancing openly and more like they're discussing their dance routine choreography. The one on the left is really having a go of it. She probably wanted to play a trombone during.
