Al Gore likens the Trump admin to Nazi Germany in its attack on "the very heart of the distinction between true and false." "I understand very well why it is wrong to compare Adolf Hitler's Third Reich to any other movement … But there are important lessons from the history of that emergent evil."

Total incompetence, and gross negligence to put a legal point on it: Trump WH "envoy Steve Witkoff was in Moscow, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, when he was included in a group chat with more than a dozen other top administration officials" discussing war plans on Signal.

I am BEGGING people to frame this properly. The issue here is not one colossal blunder where a reporter got info. The issue is it’s clear these people are all routinely ignoring the most absolutely basic security protocols, and WE HAVE NO IDEA what breaches this has already enabled.

Acting Social Security head consults with Justice Dept. on threat to close agency
Leland Dudek argues that a ruling blocking Elon Musk's cost-cutting team from access to sensitive taxpayer data could apply to all employees.Leland Dudek, the acting commissioner at the SSA, said that the judge's order could apply to any SSA employees, Bloomberg News reported. "As it stands, I will follow it exactly and terminate access by all SSA employees to our IT systems," the report quoted Dudek as saying.
He also said his antifraud team and IT staff could be considered DOGE affiliates. "Really, I want to turn it off and let the courts figure out how they want to run a federal agency," Dudek said, according to the report.

Is Elon Musk using the missing $1.4B to fund anti-Tesla protests as part of a massive false flag operation that will give him control of both the police and the courts? There’s absolutely ZERO evidence to support that idea (plus: I just made it up), but…

Tomorrow, we expect Trump is going to sign an Executive Order claiming to dissolve the U.S. Department of Education. Reminder: Trump does not have the legal authority to destroy a cabinet department; reporting on the EO as if he does have that power is both inaccurate and unethical.

You wouldn't know from reading this New York Times story about Trump punishing the University of Pennsylvania for trans athletes that there are no trans athletes on women's teams at the University of Pennsylvania because the New York Times didn't find that detail worth including
A news article headline reads, "White House Plans to Pause $175 Million for Penn Over Transgender Policy." The subheadline states that the decision is part of a broader effort to push universities to end diversity programming and adopt stricter discipline. Below the text is a photograph of a historic building on the University of Pennsylvania's campus, with a statue in the foreground and leafless trees framing the image. The article is authored by Alan Blinder and Michael C. Bender, published on March 19, 2025.A news article continues discussing the Trump administration's decision to suspend $175 million in federal funding to the University of Pennsylvania due to its policies regarding transgender athletes. The article references a White House social media account announcing the move, citing Penn's support of transgender swimmer Lia Thomas as a justification. A response from Penn states that they have not received official notification and assert they are in compliance with all relevant regulations.

🚨 pure disinformation. 🚨 1️⃣ Autopen use is legally established—Bush, Obama, Trump, & Biden have all used it 2️⃣ The DOJ ruled in 2011 that it’s legal for signing while outside D.C 3️⃣ Pardons don’t require a specific signature format 4️⃣ Trump used it too This is a political strategy, not a legal crisis.
A screenshot that says number one auto pen use is legally established presidents from George Bush, Obama Trump and Biden have all used the auto pen number two in 2011 the Department of justice office of legal council ruled that the president can legally use an auto pen to sign legislation while outside of WashingtonA screenshot that says number three presidential pardons have no required signature format. The constitution article to section 2 gives the president absolute power to issue pardon number four Trump. Use the auto pen to Trump himself. Use the auto pen for bills and executive orders while at Mar-a-Lago and abroadAnother screenshot that says number five no court has ever invalidated an auto pen signature. There has never been a legal ruling stating that auto pen used nullify the presidential action. Then a 🚨 that says this is not a legal crisis. It’s a political strategy that auto pen information is designed to justify authoritarian retaliation.Another screenshot which says an excellent historical reference of the current auto pen debate and it points to another post that breaks down the historical use of the auto pen which specifically says the federal register has published 177 documents for Trump so far this term, everyone with a reproduction signature
