Hot take: I like this portrayal but I’m sick and tired of everyone saying this is the only portrayal of Lola that’s funny. Lola became more looney following her debut in Space Jam. She started to appear in LT DC comics and was written to be real aggressive and savage but also really funny.

The most I can see the leadership willingly drop is just some cable networks they don’t see as essential, mainly the ones from Discovery and some Viacom ones like TV Land and Pop. This merger will likely fail in a few years, but big IPs are the last thing they’d wanna sell.

Paramount has been barely getting by as an entertainment giant since the early 2010s (outside 2022’s film hits) and Paramount+ has been built around Taylor Sheridan but he’s leaving very soon. Once they have WB and HBO, they’ll cling onto them like their life depends on it.
