A 14 yo girl gets stalked & stabbed for saying "no" to a date, & the court hands down a referral order & a restraining order. A slapped wrist for a brutal, pre-meditated knife attack. The justice system is sending a terrifying message that a young girl's life & safety are worth practically nothing.
A 14-year-old girl told a boy she didn't want to date him.
He became obsessed. He followed her.
He stabbed her. Repeatedly.
This week his sentence came down:
A restraining order and a year of youth supervision.
Now the next boy who won't take "no" for an answer knows the cost.
And it's way too f*cking cheap.
