There is no muscle memory for the heart, since it's all involuntarily controlled by the brainstem/hypothalamus eg we don't 'learn' how to contract our hearts Hormones definitely might be playing a role!

when it's phosphorylated creatine can be used as a way to regenerate ATP quickly. Creatinine is a waste product occasionally made when creatine converted to its active form (usually cleared by kidneys, but when it's not it indicates poor kidney function)

Scoop: For nearly a year, NSF has struggled to make new grants. Now we know that it will not catch up. In fact, NSF will award just 6,100 new grants—a 30% y/o/y decline, itself down from a previous avg. of 11,000+. In fact, the last time NSF awarded so few grants was in the early '80s.

Yes, there are super agers! They also usually have intact brain function as well. The key difference is having a really good immune system, eg not too reactive, not too inactive. And this relies on good mitochondria health. I bet she has a pretty good diet, is active (walks), uses her brain!
