Keresdrakon is an Azhdarchoidea from the Cemitério dos Pterossauros a locality in Brazil. other pterasaurs from this desert enviroment include Caiuajara and Torukjara.

Kostensuchus is a South American Crocodile from the same formation as Maip a large megaraptorian and Nullotitan a Titanosaur from the same locality.

Introducing NMQR 1702, a Biarmosuchian and considered a part of Burnetiamorpha. Formerly considered Lemurosaurus, in 2021 Duhamel et al reexamined this specimen as well as the holotype of Lemurosaurus determining that the holotype is most likely an adult and NMQR 1702 may represent a new taxa.

Watched SUPERCROC last night Decent documentary doesn’t talk about sarco that much but does a decent job with what is said. It’s mostly about croc behavior and Paul Sereno interacting with Live crocs.

Watched some documentaries A Whopping Small Dinosaur!: Covering chinle its fairly interesting again for the references to thecodonts Dem Dry Bones: Really old and somewhat interesting for the opinions of the time (the host pointing out Ceratosaurs tiny arms and Entelodonts as Rhinos)

Next up is the Popo Agie Formation this Late Carnian formation is notable for having the oldest known named dinosaur from North America as well as a wide range of Psudosuchians.

Introducing the Pekin Formation another Carnian formation from North America and with excellent plant records i wanted to highlight the Post Carnian pluvial event here making the setting on a river with the landscape getting more arid the further away from the water.

The Doswell Formation is a Early Carnian formation presented here as a river with a poposaurus hunting along its shores, a notable aspect is the pretty good plant records.

The Hosselkus limestone is an Triassic locality in the Early Carnian containing Shonisaurus a large ichthyosaur

Hey so did you know that there are 2 species of Estemmenosuchus finally our mod has both for my birthday. the interesting thing is the more famous species mirabilis is quite small at around 2 meters while uralensis is 3.1 meters.

And one more... Walking with Monsters' gorgonopsid! Like many kids of my generation, this WWM segment (and Primeval) triggered a long-lasting obsession with gorgonopsians. Their presentation as dynamic, exciting animals reframed the way I imagined the time before dinosaurs. It was game changing!

Been thinking about how to show off Fossils, so in the mean time have the Trossingen Formation, I'm really happy with how this turned out with 3 animals around.
Two Plateosaurus have a confrontation over territory. Gerrothorax laying on the riverbed and waiting for a fish to pass by.Proganochelys walks away from an increasingly noise confrontation

Despite being ill I think this first formation #paleostream of the year turned out pretty good. The Upper Elliot Formation from the early Jurassic of South Africa is an important piece for our understanding of sauropod evolution but beyond that it's just a really cool assemblage...

Have learnt from Andrea Cau that French palaeontologist Philippe Taquet died yesterday, aged 85. Taquet published a substantial amount on north African and French #dinosaurs, including Ouranosaurus, spinosaurids, the dromaeosaurid Pyroraptor and much more.
